For the little ones, or should it be, for grannies cupboard
Toy sack
If you don't have a cupboard then how about a toy sack. Take a piece of material, some thread, and something to make a tie out of. Hem the top to run the tie through, fold the material in half, sew across the bottom and up one side, there you go, one toy sack ready for use.
Finger puppets
To start the cupboard off how about finger puppets. Quick and easy to make. All you need is some felt, a marker pen and some cotton for sewing round the edges. Fun to make and fun to play with.
Snap cards
How about making your own snap cards. All you need is paper or card, your own pictures/photos and if you want to a laminator to laminate them so that they last just that little bit longer. You can make them with any pictures you like, as long as there are at least two of the same ones in the pack.
French Knitting
I rememberd doing this as a child, now I can't wait to show Alisha (my granddaughter) how its done.
