Hope you like my Dolls Houses, I enjoyed setting them up it was great to see the big house come together room by room. Each of the rooms in J-Lyn Manor, had a different theme, I had already completed a traditional cottage and wanted the manor to look different, and it did. To think the house started off just as a bare shell.
J - Lyn Manor
J-Lyn Manor was a big project with 16 rooms in all. The rooms included - wedding room, ladies room, nativity play, the night before chirstmas, the hairdressers, granddads greenhouse, Kathys cafe, auntie Junes front room, and down the middle of the house ran an age theme starting with the nursery, the school room, the teenagers bedroom, and grannies kitchen.
This was my first dolls house project, it had a bedroom in the attic, a front room and a kitchen. It was great to furnish, I made most of the furniture myself as it was in 1/16th scale. Most of the furniture you can buy in the shops is 1/12th size.
Jeans Japanese House
Jean wanted a dolls house with a difference, well this was different. I took an old bird cage and set to work to make a Japanese Dolls House. Jean was pleased with it and it was fun for me to make one just a little bit different.
This mill was fun to do, the roof and brick work took time but was worth it in the end. It had two rooms downstairs and two rooms upstairs with an extra small bit in the attic. This was a 1/24th scale house the smallest I worked with. Once again I made most of the furniture.
